Fabó Éva Sports Swimming Pool
The building of the Fabó Éva Sports Swimming Pool in Dunaújváros was completed in the late 1970s, based on the designs of Imre Péchy. The structure stood out not only for its modern form but also for its innovative architectural solutions in the interior layout, which were recognised with the Ybl and Nívó awards.
During the most recent renovation, one of the primary tasks was the rethinking and modernisation of the pool’s layout. Special attention was paid to energy efficiency during the refurbishments. The works carried out significantly reduced the pool’s energy consumption, while the application of modern mechanical systems and materials made the building's operation more economical.
Hajdu-Alu Zrt. undertook the manufacturing and installation of aluminium doors and windows during the renovation works. The fixed, opening, and tilt-and-turn windows installed in the interior were made using Aliplast profile systems, ensuring high quality and durability. Aliplast MC-Wall profiles were used for the curtain wall applied to the building’s facade, providing significant improvements both aesthetically and functionally. In total, more than 1400 m² of door and window structures were manufactured and installed on-site, contributing to the pool’s modern, energy-efficient renewal.
