Technological Upgrades for Industrial Digitalization and Capacity Development at Hajdu-Alu

Hajdu-Alu Zrt. is committed to technological advancement and modernization. In line with this commitment, we undertook significant developments and procured new machinery in 2021. The total value of the project was 153 million HUF, of which the government provided more than 76 million HUF as non-refundable support under the Large Company Investment Support program.
New Technological Equipment
As part of the investment, our company purchased computer-controlled machining tools and precision instruments. These machines not only increase our production capacity but also enable us to meet the highest quality standards by employing the latest technologies. The acquisition of new equipment allows us to expand our product range, opening new market opportunities.

Digital developments help us optimize manufacturing processes and reduce production time. The integration of new digital systems enables real-time data monitoring and analysis, thus improving the efficiency and quality of production processes.

The introduction of new technologies not only boosts our production capacity but also creates jobs. Training new employees and further educating existing staff is crucial to ensure that everyone can properly handle the new technologies.
Technical Achievements
Post-investment, the computer-designed and controlled plasma cutter performs the work of multiple machines in one operation, machining several parts simultaneously with greater precision, speed, and material efficiency, thereby enhancing the cost-effectiveness of material processing for console production. Moreover, it allows elements to be cut in curves or any shapes compared to previous straight cuts.
Following the investment, during profile cutting, the barcode on the cut profile is scanned, and the machining center automatically and precisely performs the manufacturing processes defined in the design program in one operation. This eliminates errors and defects caused by human error, thus increasing our production capacity.
After the investment, the angle cutting machine, measuring the cross-sectional parameters of the profile to be cut and based on data obtained from the design program, automatically sets both saw blades for the desired angle and performs the tasks in one operation. This significantly speeds up the previously manual process, reducing the number of defects to a minimum or zero.
Post-investment, the glazing robot equipped with a special glass gripping head, lifting up to 7.5 meters, ensures fast and efficient work, while the implementation involves minimal organization, shortening the transition time between individual structures.
Following the investment, the production machines with network access automatically extract data from the central server using the most recent, current version of manufacturing plans at that moment. This increases the speed of data processing and enables tracking of elements already manufactured during the production process, as the production machine confirms the completed workpieces to the server.
